SPOILER WARNING.
What follows is a personal story arc walkthrough. While I will try to shade as many elements as possible. Some elements must be exposed to highlight certain personal story arc features. I make no promise that this story, or its elements will make it to final release, but if they do then a certain element of discovery will be lost by reading the following.
POINTERS.
Events in a story arc are only partially linear. Certain events can only occur if previous events occur. Other events can occur at any time during a players story arc. The story can unfold in different ways for everyone. Also try to remember since this is not true linear some quests will exceed your characters skill. That means a player might receive a quest that might have to wait a few weeks to do, or will require other player assistance. You will not be stuck though since the system is set up to provide more quests, and other side quests will be available.
WALKTHROUGH.
The walkthrough will be done in a linear fashion as in how a player might experience it. I will pick one line of development, but I will take time to follow up choices that were not made. Since what a player chooses to do has a direct correlation to the legendary they unlock.
STARTUP
You have created your character it has a name, appearance, starting skills. You have also completed your training tutorial. The tutorial area can always be returned too this is a player tool. Players no longer choose a starting location. This is generated in accord with the story the system has given to the character.
TITLE ANONYMOUS ORIGIN.
Your character awakes inside a dark ship. Right next to a open hibernation chamber. The room is filled with other hibernation chambers. Some of them have obviously been destroyed. A few have been opened, and one still has a NPC in it sleeping comfortably. The ships looks to be old, and in disrepair. The power systems seem to fluctuate. To add to your characters confusion which it will relate to you. It has no idea who it is, or how it got there.
Your character must explore the ship to try to find out what is going on. You might try to revive the NPC in the other hibernation chamber, but you find that the device is locked somehow. You find that your chamber had a lock too, but it appears to have malfunctioned. That might have caused your memory loss. This is your first choice. Your story arc is dependent on the choices you make.
You have determined that you can try to force the lock. Based on how old the chambers appear to be a safety feature might preserve the life inside deciding that any failure is due to malfunction rather then an attempted hack. On the other hand tampering with the chamber might hurt, or kill the occupant.
This situation has three resolutions which the interface will offer you.
A. Break the lock. B. Try to put in the proper code. C. Leave it alone for the time being.
Breaking the lock has three outcomes. Your starting profession has some value here. Since each starting profession would do it in a different manner. Some starting professions are worse at technical tasks then others. The best starting profession in this situation would be medic. The worst would be brawler.
The first outcome is you kill the occupant. This is rather sad since this NPC is special to your character. Depending on how the story flows they could end up being a family member, spouse, or something really special. Your story has no set in stone ending there are a number of possible endings. You will not be screwed by killing this NPC, but it has consequences. This character can be a powerful alt. Especially since its story is intertwined with yours.
The second outcome is you revive the NPC with complications. The NPC suffers from the same affliction that afflicts you. I might as well point out to you now that the NPC is the same species as you, and is the opposite sex. What good is a story without some tension.
The third outcome is the NPC is revived in perfect health. Though in this situation they are less then willing to divulge anything, and they will behave in a cryptic manner.
Option B. Putting in the proper code takes more doing. You must thoroughly search the ship, and try to deduce who the occupants of the tubes were. During your search you will find terminals, and containers. You should come across a broken lightsaber at some point in your search. I mention this, because force relics are very important to increase your adept legendary unlock. Remember every clue you unlock increases your possibilities. Some quests only help your cause, and finding certain items increase your odds. Hopefully you will find something that will help you deduce what the logical passcode is. I also should point out the passcode is different for each player.
Unlocking the chamber immediately results in the third outcome. Worth noting that if you search after you break your friend out, and you will find different items in your search. I will not go further into this though. This deals with unlockable areas which are irrelevant to this walkthrough.
Option C. Basically means you will return later maybe with something to help you unravel the mystery of your companion. This has a upside since when you come back you may have some answers, and your relationship to the character can be different. There is a dominance issue. You might also choose to forever leave that character intombed in a dieing ship.
Once you have scouted out the ship. Either having saved, or killed your alt. You should have an idea at this point that the craft is actually buried on some planet. This planet is Tattooine. You will have to find a way to get out. This is your second choice. There are three ways to get out of your tomb. The first way is to blow out a weak section of hull, and try to dig yourself out. The second option is to start up a distress beacon. The third option is to try this old ships engines to push you out of the sand.
Option A. Blowing a hole in the ship will get you out, but there is a chance the ship will explode after your departure. Hopefully you have rescued your alt. In the event the ship doesn't explode you will be able to have it retrieved later. Now if it does explode you will have to take a series of quests to obtain a new freighter. Not so bad unless you thought that freighter was pretty cool. Either way you were going to have to do some quests to bring your home up to specks. A wreck needs to be fixed.
Option B. A scavenger droid shows up, and digs you out. Unfortunately this droid works for a local crime boss. This causes an entire story line where you must win back your ship. Yes you want that ship its a key to your past. On the bright side when someone steals something from you they have a hint as to what it is. That could help you with your mystery.
Option C. You will finally pop out of the ground. Unfortunately you really decimate the ship in doing so. You will have to run a quest series to make the needed repairs. You will be able to hop it to a spaceport though.
Each resolution presents a slew of problems that must be addressed. In each case it will lead you to a way to investigate your origins. At this point we will assume that you rescued your alt through the passcode, and you used the distress signal. Every choice gives you points on the slider towards one legendary unlock or another. Some actions help, and some actions hurt.
Your characters now are outside of the excavated ship. With the lead droid, and its work crew. Your character will make some observations about the situation, and if you freed your alt they will make observations. You will have to decide whether to trust the droid, betray the droid, or make an escape.
Choice A. Now if you choose to do what the droid tells you to do when it says it will take you to its master. Then you will be introduced to the local crime lord. This is not a character known to other players. This nemesis is unique to you, and will play a recurring theme. Until you either destroy them, or kill them. See the crime lord thinks you belong to him, and so does your ship. Get ready for a trouble your choices are basically submission, or conflict. Do not worry this scum will haunt you even if you choose the other two options.
Choice B. You betray the droid were you lucky enough to choose crafter as a starter profession you need not destroy him, and can infact aquire it as a alt. Droids have alot of useful features, and if you obtain this droid you can use it get more information from the ship. Though its not a perfect crime. The crimelord now has a legitimate beef with you.
Choice C. You run away, and try to avoid this situation. Though the crimelord still hunts you down. He still thinks you belong to him, and has other reasons to think you are valuable.
By this point you have received your nemesis, and have a mystery to unravel. Were you lucky you might have three characters. You should also have acquired a number of clues. A number of useful items, and earned some XP from your actions. You might also already have your freighter. From this point on events will come at you from many directions. Now this story can be allotted to a alt in the case of this story. You might be the one to rescue them, or find them stranded. You will never encounter a alt that has the same story as you. You cannot keep unlocking the same story arc on multiple characters.
